The awards are judged by a panel of business leaders and honor companies who have made sustainability an integral part of their business practice. AT&T won the 2018 Green Company of the Year award for our commitment to renewable energy investments and energy-savings projects across our business.
Bloomberg Gender Equality Index
AT&T was one of over 100 companies from ten sectors headquartered in 24 countries and regions named to the inaugural 2018 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI), and we were proud to again be recognized in 2021. The index measures gender equality across internal company statistics, employee policies, external community support and engagement, and gender-conscious product offerings.
Calvert U.S. Large Cap Core Responsible Index Fund
AT&T is a constituent of the Calvert U.S. Large Cap Core Responsible Index Fund, which tracks corporate sustainability progress as well as financial indicators.
CDP Climate Change Leadership Tier
The CDP climate change program recognizes companies that have demonstrated strong internal data management practices for the measurement of greenhouse gas emissions and energy use. AT&T has disclosed fiscal year climate change information to CDP since 2005. In 2022, AT&T was named to the Leadership Tier for CDP’s Climate Change program for the 7th consecutive year, earning an A score. AT&T’s most recent CDP Climate Change response is available here.

AT&T continues to be a member company of the FTSE4Good Index. As institutional investors around the world put increasing focus on the environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices of the companies they investin, ESG risk measures are an increasingly important part of the investment process.
Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) Inclusion Index (CII)
AT&T was ranked as an HACR CII 5 star company in the areas of employment, procurement and philanthropy. This is part of a comprehensive survey that began in 2009 to evaluate Hispanic inclusion in Corporate America, led by the HACR Research Institute.
