Stakeholder Engagement

OverView

Our purpose at AT&T is to connect people to greater possibility

Central to that purpose is ensuring we understand the needs and perspectives of our stakeholders – those who impact and are impacted by our business. Guided by our code of business conduct, we proactively engage a range of external stakeholders across all levels of our company. Through this engagement, we seek to uncover opportunities to continually improve our operations, programs, and policies, helping to also improve the long-term success of both AT&T and the communities in which we live and work.
Below are key stakeholder groups and examples of how we engage with them throughout the year.

Customers

Our mission to create connection starts with our customers, including both consumers and business customers. To help ensure we provide the best experience possible, we continually monitor customer feedback through myriad channels. In addition to our millions of direct-to-customer touchpoints, we intentionally engage customers through formal surveys and advisory councils to gather their perspectives. We utilize that feedback to shape our products, programs and strategy in a way that will create the most value for our customers.
